Community Gardens
Niagara Community Garden Network
Niagara Community Garden Network is a collaborative network of local food security leaders working together to build thriving community gardens.
They believe growing and sharing food can transform communities and address environmental, health and social issues. They seek to empower people of all ages to learn to grow their own food.
They offer our communities garden space, tools, seeds, seedlings, and educational resources for people to grow their own healthy food.
They believe everyone deserves to easily access nutritious and affordable healthy food.
The Niagara Community Garden network supports community gardens throughout Niagara, providing access to families, individuals and organizations seeking a closer connection to the food that they eat. Through on-site support, workshops and peer-to-peer instruction, anyone can learn to grow food to eat in season and to preserve for off-season plus a garden provides a green space for socializing, quiet reading or just enjoying being outside.
