In South Central Ontario, the 211 service is managed by InCommunities, based in St. Catharines. In addition to 211, they maintain the Niagara Community Information Database. This Database is the first stop resource for anyone searching for community, government and/or social service information. It’s the digital version of Niagara’s historic “Orange Book” that collects and maintains thousands of records to help you make informed choices.
This database is accurate and easily searchable. It is organized and maintained by certified data specialists and in compliance with data standards set out by the Alliance for Information and Referral Systems and 211. This data is the core resource for their phone specialists at 211 and for many community agencies.
Visit InCommunities to learn more about 211, the searchable Community Information Database and additional services to support your community information needs.
