A library card is a key to open worlds of adventure and fun! Your library card will provide you with access to in-person services like story-time, workshops, reading clubs, movies and of course books. It will also open up virtual worlds with free music, e-books, learning activities, magazines and virtual presentations. You can get a free library card at a branch in your community. If you have accumulated fines that are stopping you from going in, talk to your friendly librarian to work out a way to remove that barrier. Libraries are here to help you learn, grow and explore all from the comfort of your home – exactly what you need during a pandemic but equally valuable once the pandemic is a memory.
For children, parents and caregivers – when it is safe, the library is a great field trip and you are never too young or too old to enjoy reading.
